This drawing is based of a photo from my cousin Berkley's wedding with her and Scott. I enjoy using a grid sometimes to help me with proportions and centering the subject matter. I am using graphite sketching pencils and blending stumps. This is the largest piece I have done so far. It is on a 18" x 24" sketch pad. The size is rather intimidating! It is certainly going to take awhile to get all the layers in to create the right amount of depth and detail. 😊

Hello there fellow deviants, It has certainly been awhile since I have been on! With this new year and new found creative energy I will start anew. Many things have changed since my last login, but the most note worthy is that I found my soulmate. The ying to my yang. With this being said, let's see what art comes out of this new fire in my heart. I look forward to sharing with you all my artistic journey this year.
